I will share with you my rainbow,
If you promise to pass yours along
To keep the colors alive
And each emotion strong.
I will share the bright blue hue of light.
That is the color of my true loves eyes.
And the slight line of pink in the middle
That shows in the eyes if one cries.
I will let you borrow the yellow
If you treat it as rays of the sun.
That brightens the days of childhood
When living day to day is it's own fun.
I will give to you the purple
For it's a color of royalty.
Since we're sharing something important
I consider you a friend to me.
