Losing the one i truely loved
knowing now that he has gone
puts tears to my eyes everyday.
I miss all the kisses and cuddles
we had they were the most warmest days
of my life and now its all gone
but the memories of him will never go away
for as long as i am alive today.
I love him with all my heart (he knows)
but now it feels like theres only pain.

i feel pain similar to this, when i was dating my love, he asked me to go meet his grandparents and i told him i would do it another day and his grandpa died that night, i never met him, the stories i hear about him, he lives in my heart and my husband everyday grandma used to say things about him that i still remember ten yrs later,

I lost my grandfather 5 years ago to prostate cancer, and it was the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. This is a really beautiful poem, and I can relate to it well. Thanks for entering.
