Like scraping your knee on a sidewalk

Like it's impossible to get up afterward

Like everyone who does is gonna get hurt
But falling in love isn't like that
It's not like falling at all
No scabby knees, and no bruised injuries

I remember that feeling when I was your age! for your powerful expression & depth of understanding about a difficult topic, much misunderstood! Actually, I found, having looked for love in all the wrong ways, that 'falling in love' isn't where it's at. Being in love & receiving love from the one loved is the complete story, that's a never ending commitment between two people! Bravo for the fine work you did here in speaking your heart.
