The moon held out her wrists
As blood fell through the sky
His eyes held the sight
Of his life passing by
His mouth was cut
With his sharp words
Unspoken in silence
No one knew, he was sure
The scars told the lies
Of his decent past
And as his life passes him by
All he wants to do is go back

oh my likey likey, this is great, the imagery was fantastic and the metaphors were mindblowing "The moon held out her wrists
As blood fell through the sky"

And as his life passes him by
All he wants to do is go back

what a line!, this is so heart capturing for me, magnificent ending!

this poem is really good. I feel the same way about a lot of things. It's true though, once youdo something you regret, you almost immediatly regret it and want to go back... good poem
