Hay Fever

A tishoo! A whooshoo!
I cough and I sneeze!
This weather is horrid,
But worse is the breeze!

It carries small pollen
From grass, trees and rose.
They make my eyes water;
They tickle my nose.

I wish it were autumn
Or winter again!
But since I can't have that
I wish it would rain!

I'll move to the North Pole
'cause I've had enough!
A tishoo! A whooshoo!
I sneeze and I cough!

Author notes

It hasn't rained in what feels like months. It's no wonder I can hardly breathe ....

Please tell me what you think

Sorry you're also suffering from hay fever...

I'm sneezing all the time right now, so I can relate to this poem very well. I like your humorous take on the subject... Well rhymed, easy to understand, and entertaining.
Love the bit about the North Pole... Should you decide to move there, don't forget to tell me, so I can visit you some time.

    Keep on writing!
