A True hero

A sword in the hand
A smile on the face
A heart of gold
All he wants
Is to be a hero

Always talks about honour
Will never give up
On the friends and enemies
He has endured
Throughout his life

Although true to his work
His friends come first
He abandons the shinra
To save his friend

Is that not a hero?
Well then this comes next
He comes against the army
That was once his life

One man alone
Against an army!!
Still no hero?
Well he was badly wounded
but listen to this

Before he left
He passed on his sword
"You are my living legacy"
He whispers
Before slowly fading from this world

A true hero in my eyes
And his legacy lives on
Inside me
So now my fight is over
Here is your honour

I live for you!

Author notes

This is a final fantasy poem I decided to write at work. Don't know why, just did. This is based on Zack Fair from Crisis core, but from Clouds Perspective in Advent Children (At the graveside where the sword stands) Its kind of like Cloud reliving the memory to someone else.
