A forest, so verdant, at the edge of the world
Gleaming with luminous plants
Violet and pearl, crimson and blue
Amidst a sea of green leaves and tall grass
Life echoes in the wind, between the trees
Whispers in your ear, "Just live"
And in a clearing at the edge of the world
A girl ignores all they've said
Tears fall from her eyes like ice falls in sheets
Over something she can't even remember
She's just living behind her illusion
She sees a desolate wood, black and lifeless
Sharp thorns adorning the trees
Like the suicides of the dark wood of error
Amidst a sea of dead leaves and sick weeds
Death echoes in the air, cries from the trees
"Life just isn't worth living"
And in this clearing at the edge of the world
She suddenly falls to the earth with a wail
But she dries her tears and walks into the night
And tries desperately not to remember
Because she's just living behind her illusion
Author notes
My word was illusion. I don't remember the number though :S

This is fantastic and so original. Some of the lines are just beautiful. I enjoyed this alot and I loved the contrast between the two verses
