The walk was pleasant
I felt so free
I enjoy our time
just you and me
The end of this rainbow
symbolizes our fate
That what may crumble
will open another gate
We reach the end
Oh, what despair
Our future, our conclusion
Nothing was there

This poem begins quite beautiful, but towards the end you've added sadness to it.
The rhyme you have used is perfect, the rhythm as well.
Thank you for entering the contest!

Beautifully rhymed, sad ending but still wonderfully beautiful. I hope that someday you find your pot of gold at the end of your rainbow.
