Free love bloomed
in flower scars
and left us with an asphalt sickness--
Black words fell like moonshine
against your knuckles
He had Ferris wheels for eyes
and sticky cheeks that
left cotton candy without a chance
Bent backwards--
something hidden laid under the fungus of his breath;
rotting from the inside out
soft dead things
fell like tears
from the sky--
he held open his palms-
God was juggling.
in flower scars
and left us with an asphalt sickness--
Black words fell like moonshine
against your knuckles
He had Ferris wheels for eyes
and sticky cheeks that
left cotton candy without a chance
Bent backwards--
something hidden laid under the fungus of his breath;
rotting from the inside out
soft dead things
fell like tears
from the sky--
he held open his palms-
God was juggling.
Author notes
Sorry for the use of the word God,
I know it was suggested against.
I have not posted since March,
and now the reason is officially clear =/.
Help? I know it's a mess.
I know at first glance it seems like
nothing in it fits together.
Isn't that so typical for life?

This has some beautiful images in it. Your use of the word God was just fine, haha, I just didn't want any religious pieces. I particuarly enjoyed the "Ferris wheels for eyes" and that jazz.
I'm glad you're back in the community. =)

Incredible.
It does, however, make one wonder who inspired such a powerful poem. -
i've missed you SO much.
and your work.
you never cease to amaze me, no matter what you say.
i love the feeling i get from this,
it's like decaying, in a beautiful way.
and regret, betrayal, something else i can't place...
whatever it is, it is beautiful because YOU have written it, and that's all that you know how to write.
ilyyy. continue to write, pleasepleaseplease.♥
