I'm standing in the Middle

It’s that moment,
fire burns in my mind.
I’ve approach the crossroads
that everybody finds.
My mentality is shadowed
by the awkwardness of life.
My innocence defeated
by my youth’s ignorance.
My sanity is washed away.
Like seaweed in the ocean,
I’ve been pushed upon a shore;
not knowing where I stand.

It’s that moment,
where I finally surpass.
My adolescence slowly wilted
by the seconds passing by.
I’m standing in the middle
of the many roads to take.
Looking at each one;
intimidated by their misty scene.
I’m wondering when the answer
will finally appear in my wits.

    The flow of the poem is a bit choppy to me. But overall it's a pretty good write. No grammatical errors, which is a huge thing to me! So great job! Keep it up! Good luck in the contest and thank you for entering
