once aloft in gentle dreams
before you ripped at my heart seams
but time grows shrill in blackened things
that mock my fallen broken wings
we use to fly like lovebirds high
then fell to hardened ground from sky
your lies like iron weighed in flings
shattered twisted broken wings
now i look into the air
remembering vistas way up there
before you cut the final strings
that held together broken wings

then fell to hardened ground from sky
your lies like iron weighed in flings
shattered twisted broken wings" thanks for entering my contest i wish you the best of luck.

I hear you
I do try t tell the young girls today that its no different back i my day where the boys in school sex to them is a class one they learn lies and deception this they dont lack .So to be true to yourself never give away your heart to a young boy in school that way .
Oh they are smooth and handsome indeed but what comes from their mouths are only for their needs and once taken they drift away unfeeling to the broken wings of the day .I cry for the young girls for I was young once to but my mther told us to never have sex with a man until you are married for it will hold your heart solid and tears will never fall .For if they wont wait then its not love afterall
I am so sorry your wings became broken and yes I had tears many a time because they wouldnt they left wait but what I saw once they left were many hearts broken and young girls hurt then I knew to myself I was true
