Darkened demon why do you hide?
Lost in your own solitude,
barely able to breathe.
Never able to overcome
that which holds you down.
Casting thunderous shadows
upon all that is light.
Oh dark angel,
free-fall from grace.
Darkened demon find all that is lost.
Trapped somewhere between
remorse and inner serenity.
Be thy own savior
and rise from the ashes.
No mercy, you cast
away the angel within.
Oh dark angel,
fall into the evil.
Darkened demon, lost in the shadows.
See all that could have been
and all that will never be.
Truth beyond the lies,
peace within the war.
Deceived by yourself, once again,
falling into the darkness.
Oh dark angel,
doomed forever in shadows.

yep ... you've definitely done the picture justice ... it came across as lightly dark (if that makes sense!)
it didn't drip with demented rage or maniacal haphazard writing, but rather melodic and soothing

Wow... I am a huge fan of this woman's artwork, and you have done the picture such justice. In fact, I read this twice, the second time with "Lithium" playing in the background, and if I listened carefully enough, I could hear Amy's voice in the background. This was written so eloquently, in a way that only you are capable of. Well done, and good luck!
