Step out or step in

Shattering handcuffs
of society,
embossed in metals
of free spirit,

light emerald eyes
highlighted in gold,
stare into a future
with opportunity emerging
with beat of wings of moth.

Free
or barred in
certain uncertainty
staring
from clear cracked mirror.

Fantastic use of imagery to convey the emotional message....I quite liked the paradox of 'certain uncertainty' Great poem....

This is dilemma as natural as breathing. we have to accept, just like we accept natural laws. Some times stepping in and at times out. Well done 'dear sister'

Wa-alaikum-assalam.....So glad you dropped by your lovely comment and wishes...such pictures are usually not what I write for, since such high fashion goes beyond me... I challenged myself! Had hubby wondering where my mind was when he returned from office
