I'm not myself
Barely breathing anymore
I'd do it so differently

My heart's been ripped out
It kills me inside
The thought haunts me endlessly
I keep you on my mind.
It tears me up...
Knowing what could've been
That there never was a chance,

First off, this isn't meant to sound like one of those angsty poems about "my boyfriend left me now I'm gonna kill myself poems" this poem is about no man, fuck them all.
This poem is for my unborn child,,
Due to an inflicted miscarriage....
Go figure. =/

As for the poem, your use of emotion is great and gets the reader "into the lap" of the situation

Wow, I'm soooo sorry for your loss, i can imagine that was traumatic, and I'm sorry you had to go through it. The poem was very well written though, and the structure combined with the gentle mourning made it stand out. Once again, I'm so sorry for your loss, and good luck
