Ascension

Soul
so young
so feeble
but aware
of conscious mistakes.

I know I said that background creativity would grant brownie points; I think that if you had put a back ground on this it would've drawn off the actual words.

I actually quite like this one, it's so straight forward but very truthful at the same time, I can relate very well.

Thank you for entering and I wish you the best of luck,
    Claire xx

I'm glad you understand where I'm coming from on the whole background deal-io.

      Thank-you.

    hey

I know this poem is short but it says so much. I love this it's really great. Good thing you are aware of your mistakes and "conscious" of them. Do you mean you knew they were mistakes as you did them? I've done that too. Then you feel guilty. so don't dwell too much on mistakes but do move yourself up to a better level of wisdom and thought like your title "Ascension" implies. that must be my interpretation. Great stuff.

You know you'll feel guilty afterwards, maybe even while you're doing it, but you're just a glutton for pain. Yep, been there, done/do that. Love the interpretation.

To be aware of mistakes helps us to continually correct our path in time once years and strength grow!

Great piece of self insight here!

Thanks for taking a look. I always find it comforting to take a step back and examine the situation, even if it still isn't helpful.

Yes, sometimes things can't be helped or changed or whathever.. but the acknowledgement of them is comforting in a way.. and the self analysis is always enlightening!
