midnight light inspires
the night puts pressure aside
nothing matters 'til morning
rhyming doesn't exist
spelling is subjective,
even the misspelled words have meaning
they mean
sothmeing
something
if i had the rest of my life to write
for every year i'd rhyme
and for every day i'd time the time
it took
to think of a word
that doesn't rhyme
with every other word
the pressure's on the table
but the table is asleep
throw your voice against the wall
it calls
and rhyme is running in the streets
