There is light upon my breast
holding me against God
with sunshine on my skin
and the sweet smell of dawn
lifting me towards July
where one can almost hear
the fragrant murmur of daisies upon grass
beneath my feet
beyond my soul
floating

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: Blown by nature's kiss
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I did several times~
I kept seeing a casket~
I read again and instantly was seeing a casket and what looks like female inside
Nowwwwwwwwwww hearing word: Aunt or someone like an Aunt figure~ whether Yours or someone elses- I'm seeing this female~ it is like she is being *released* as I am being told from the *chains of Humanity*
Hearing word: Cancer~ and phrase: bound her
pain swift- but also Gosh~ it is like this feeling of look at me...
I'm being shown like fairy dust...if one wants to call it...energy beads going from her body to the Heavens~ and what looks like a child gathering them
as if waiting to receive~
Hearing word: Seraph- and hearing phrase: Child of God
also nudged to mention~ had honor of greeting
Now being shown 42- whether 42 or 4/2 but significant and hearing word: symbolic-
Getting phrase: tears recycled..and being shown rain falling
Hopefully that makes sense
Powerful images You have brought forth
These words grabbed and pulled~
...holding me against God
Unique Voice spoken~
Thank You for sharing Your Heart also Spirit!
Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
**Judging will be done shortly...
Many blessings too
and much love~ Desire~*~

This poem is as light as anyone can make words. The two stanzas are the right form and your second stanza is the strongest...

"where one can almost hear

floating "
This is so sweet, quiet, serene.
Beautiful interpretation of the image, I could almost feel July.
Your poetry always brings me peace, very well done indeed.
Best of luck in the contest.
