Graduate, are you ready?

Hatched, just a chick
haven't got a clue
pecking your way
into a big wide world
where everybody else

is holding honey mustard sauce
and ready to devour you

The poem seems to have a satirical touch. Whatever has been said may be right. But everyone, ncluding a graduate has to accept the real challenges of life. Life is not easy for anyone. Everyone has to pass through a laybrinth and has to carve his own way.

If the poem aims at the defective methods of higher education, you have got a point there. The education must be on the lines that prepare a graduate for the practical life. A university has to equip him with the skills to lead his life and career successfully.

The theme is unique and admirable.

Lol, the sense of humor in this one is great. A chick peeking its way out of an egg...only ready to be devoured by what lies ahead! ~Sie
