Souls in Self Denial

Missing image

Engulfed by this the saturated norm,
beyond what recognition it has shown,
announce without due question to reform
who cluster the resounding view, unknown
emotions that have altered love's frontier
suspend themselves in mists of bourguignon,
reduced by ample quantities austere,
too vast that all too soon absorb veneer
transparent, though combines it as diffuse
an elementary life style, which shall throw,
The full caress of ethers they seduce,
though burdened less by this fruition zone
are drenched by aspirations' facial wash,
the signature that stars who glimmer have
entranced from far the exclamation, Gosh!
initially, as souls shall we instill.

I confess I had to read through this several times to fathom it and I'm not sure whether it's because of my being a little tired, your use of richly laden words or the absence of line breaks.

Anyway, as I gather it, you have pointed to our 'vast mystery' beyond its commonly witnessed 'face' and described how we are yet tied to and absorbed by it when we take such 'flight' in our loving aspirations.

I feel there is more to fathom... but I have a head-ache at present and will have to return later.

I feel I have fathomed well enough to say "congratulations on the very well deserved Gold!"

I have read this 'Gold' entry and wow! ... It seems so richly laced, I had to read it several times to follow it properly. It indeed points most beautifully to our 'largeness' through the elements often held common by less loving eyes.

It's a wonderful piece and I admire your perceptive eye.

    Written Well !

I really like the unusual way and form of poetry writing that you done in writing this poem ! Unknown emothions that they have altered love's frontier suspend themselfs in mist, and The signiture of stars that glimmer have entranced from far the exclamation, Gosh ! initially, as souls we shall instill. Very creative ! Brenda Gae
