If only I had a heart
I’d fill it up with
Licorice and lollypops,
Chocolate hearts and candy drops
Just so I can trick you with my sweetness.
So you would fall under my spell.
If only I had a heart.
I’d tear it out of my chest,
Watch it beat in your hands,
So you could break it,
Hate it,
Bash it to the floor.
So I can beg for more.
I’d let you break me,
Hate me,
Throw me to the floor.
And no, you’re ears aren’t lying
I’m begging for more.
If only I had a heart.
I’d let you do all these things.
But I lost my heart so long ago.
It was so bloody,
So weak,
So torn.
That it soon crumbled
Gone with the wind.
Never to beat again.
If only I had a heart.
I’d let you do all these things to me.
