She's so very vivacious
She smiles and laughs every day
Yet little did we know
She decieves us
And bottles all the pain away
When she gets home at night
She's no longer the popular girl
She's suddenly a nobody
She's victim to any insult.
She's no one's precious pearl
Her perfectly straightened hair
Her glossy lips, seductive stare
She'd tell you of the hurt
She'd tell you of the fear
But she can't help but stop, because you wouldn't care.
Her BFF's seem so loving
But they only love her when she's stunning
A hand to guide her
A heart to love her
Is that too much to ask?
She arrives home alone
She has planned this for time unknown
She grabs the gun, the pen, the notepad
She tells them all, especially her dad
The reason she was always so sad.
When the note is written,
the deed must be done
She looks to her hands,
She looks to the gun.
With one shot, her life is undone.
The Popular Girl
The Beauty Queen
The Cheerleading Captain
The Girl You Want To Be
Now lies dead, forgotten, and cold.
Tomorrow to be replaced
With a story untold.
The Easily Erased Popular Girl.
