Graduation?

where is my final curtain
where is my final bow
this is suppose to be my moment
but now I ask you how

With everything I know Im not
how can this moment be an end
when there is so much more to go
more places, moments, friends

forgive me if I do not weep
forgive me if I do not sigh
for right now this moment
I cannot fake a cry

my heart is to full
anxious for the new
so why create a sadness
when there is so much more to do

so much more to feel and think
so much more to discover
As I take my steps into life
I will miss you like no other

but how can you ask me
why my cheeks are dry
when Im so full of excitment
