No lovely red and russet glows
No pleasant walks into the woods
No spiders spinning lacy webs,
Just no September

Each line is a small poem in itself. Very visual.
Why the single comma? Am I missing something syntactical?
Repetition is used wisely. Good work.

Indeed these are all those things listed that we would not have without September. Nice work with brevity. Best of luck in the judging. ~Pamela

The stark reality of what would be lost with out September

This poem made me grin. In my neck of the woods, September is the gentle month when those walks are possible, so I understand your poem 100%. Good luck in the contest. The only critical thing I can say is that the last line is my least favorite. Good luck in the contest. ~ Joyce
