simple sudden soft urgings,
peering from behind folds
of bent love notes, stored
between pages of the story of my life
such children, these, never aging
nor growing wrinkled or pale
in their coverings
pure, earthy scrolling memories
of different kinds of passions
that slipped from tips of fingers
like butterfly from palm
I know they are there
but keep them in the dark
to keep God’s face from crumpling

I absolutely love this...simply beautiful, beautifuly simple...an absolute delight for the sense, sad, happy, made me smile and reminisce slightly. I love this bit:
"of bent love notes, stored
between pages of the story of my life"
Absolutely riveting!
Thanks for sharing this and entering my contest.
Luck.
