There is no soft reduction
Into autumn
Leaves crash
Without their gorgeous
Transformation
There is no grieving time for loss

Beautiful! Congratulations on the silver!

This poem is subtle and astute in theme.
Without the Turning in September; the coloured leaves with their spectacular beauty, we would not grieve your goldengrove unleaving, poet.
I am much taken by the response here.
Lyndon of the Winklings.

This is an interesting dedication, and tender understanding of grief and loss. Very mature and meaningful to this prompt.
I loved the second stanza. Very well done with brevity, consistent in grammatical structure which makes this quite and impressive piece. Best of luck in the judging. ~Pamela

What a wonderful display of a short poem. The prompt without 'September' leaves no grieving time to morn the loss of falls presence before winter comes! Lovely! ~Sie
