Busy little worker ant
Do my part
Carry my load
Move with ease
Because I go unnoticed
Blissfully enjoying
Everyone’s blind eye
……until now
Pay attention
I am over here
Don’t you see me?
No of course not
I am the lone fish in a see of sharks

I do so like this - it is so real and the way life is now.

I agree with righteousme.... this piece seemed quite awkward and didnt have a steady flow...
it almost seems as if you didnt take time on your entry...
thank you for entering nonetheless. -
this piece was quite awkward in itself but at the end came together for me... love the metaphors...

This is an interesting poem, that is for sure. The thought that goes on in it, about the ant that is content that no one sees her, then changes into someone that would like for the world to see her every now and then, is one I really identify with.
Good job, God Bless
