Where I in the heavens to look into her eyes
For I have search centuries in the devil’s field,
And have found nothing but burden lies
Of the world notion of what we ought to yield.
The color embraces my heart in a winter day
For how long have I search in time, for a sight
That shall melt my heart into an endless bay
Where the conflict of Sameal awaits in fright.
To me her eyes can never truly suppress,
Inasmuch as the danger that waits in the dark
Her sight shall protect me from that stress
That seems to silence even our ancient lark.
And for immortality have I live aside
Hidden in the shadows till our souls collide.

Well, that's another angle on the prompt. Quite intense and powerful.
