Whisper Me Lies

Whisper me lies,
for I cannot bare the truth.

Write me a fairytale,
for this world is far to harsh.

Draw me a picture,
for my eyes are seeking beauty.

Hear me speak my words,
for no one has ever before.

Sing me a lullaby,
for even I feel childish sometimes.

Hold me when I’m crying,
for I need to feel your arms.

Watch over me when I sleep,
for I fear the darkness.

Need me to be here with you,
for I rely on you too.

Cry me no rivers,
for my heart cannot take it.

Bring me flowers with beauty,
for they will be appreciated.

Love me gently,
for I have never felt it.

Tell me your secrets,
for I will be their keeper.

But please,
whisper me no lies.

    I loved how the first line is "Whisper me lies" and the last is "Whisper me no lies"
