You never let the beauty in
Never saw a single sunrise
You ended before you could begin
Saw the world through tight closed eyes
You left no mark upon this earth
As you never saw those made
You heard the endless game from birth
But you, you never played
You saw the world through eyes wide shut
And thus we closed our eyes to you
You took no time for whys or whats
And so time abandoned you
