One night,
after reading his verses,
and sending out my prayer,
I felt the glorious warmth of
the Creator fill my inner being.
My unworthiness almost shut it out.
My intellect tried to interfere,
but the spirit prevailed and
euphoria filled my heart.
That knowing feeling
surrounded me and I was made
to understand that I am spirit
and wonderfully formed
by a God who graces
and humbles me
with his presence.

I love what you have so well expressed here.
I relate to what you have written and love the reality expressed here:
"My unworthiness almost shut it out.
My intellect tried to interfere,
but the spirit prevailed and
euphoria filled my heart."
Gosh, how often we can miss out on things when we do not allow the spirit to prevail!
Good write!

Outstanding "my unworthiness almost shut it out; my intellect tried to interfere."

What beautiful truths to percieve, "I am spirit, and wonderfully formed by a God who graces and humbles me with his presence."
A precious experience.
