Raindrops falling upon my window pane
oh what a beautiful sight, watering the
earths dry and dusty ground in the night,
walk with me in the rain, walk with me through
the puddles, splashing with our feet so bare.
Raindrops falling to the earths richened
ground, what do you suppose will come
of it, a crop, a thirst quenched, or a river
unbound, beautiful rain in the daytimes
plight, washing away the dusty days.
Raindrops falling in the barrel of life
where it quenches even the greatest of
thirsts, birds hunting for the worms it
brings to the surface when the raindrops
end.
Raindrops falling from a saddened face
waiting to hide the teardrops that hover
beneath the rain soaked face, soon that
will wash away all the pain, wishes for it
to never come again.
Raindrops bring forth the beauty of the
green trees, and the rich vibrant color
of the flowers it helps to bloom, giving
plants and animals life with the quenching
of the thirst for the waters life.
