Of Fire
Of fire,
so beautiful, yet so deadly!
Made of yellow and orange flames,
Making people warm,
Helping them, but also
With the power to destroy them!
Of orange, of yellow,
Of red and of blue,
Pretty flames dancing,
Mesmerizing and hypnotizing the eye,
So beautiful, tranquil and fascinating…
But….
It can hurt and burn
Causing undescribable pain and anguish,
So elegant yet so lethal!
A simple fire for warmth,
Turning into a calamitous reign of destruction,
Feeding on all that comes in its way,
Wreaking chaos, ruin and wreckage.
Mortal man is tempted by all that is beautiful
Yet it always leads to his downfall.
The Seductive flames leave their lover
In anguish and eternal horror!

Bravo
Ah, a hot and scintilating piece of poetry here:
"calamitous reign of destruction"
It seems to me that during my largely misspent youth I knew a few girls who accurately fit the wonderful descriptions of this fire.... bravo... bravo... bravo... -
Wow!I absolutely loved it.Language is great and the colors are all so vivd and life-like.Fire is a beautiful yet destructive element.U know ,Nooni?were it possible to categorize ppl according to the four elements I'd have to say that u'd be on top of the fire element list

dunno why but I've always derived the feeling that u somehow belong to the element fire-lol.
I especially liked these parts:
"of orange, of yellow,
Of red and of blue,
Pretty flames dancing,
Mesmerizing and hypnotizing the eye,
So beautiful, tranquil and fascinating.
It can hurt and burn
Causing undescribable pain and anguish,
So elegant yet so lethal!"
Beautifully written! Thumbs up!
