My Poetic Heroine

Missing image

Like a wind chime’s resonance,

her beautiful expressions;

gently caress my soul.

Like the exhilarating fresh scent

of spring rain, her passion;

 is truly inviting.

In her well of wisdom I find

sweet language;

that quenches a dry spirit…

and in heavenly places, angels

sing her blessed words

in soft canticles;

that drift like incense~

    These words are entirely too pretty for lil' ol' me, Michael...

    & I thank you for the gifting of them, my Friend.

    Good luck in Nicky's contest, Sweetie.

    Yes indeed...loved the incense touch here, Michael. A lovely, soft-flowing penning for a very special woman and poet. I know she will love the way you have painted her here.
