Hello there wonderful Lady
I don't believe we've met
But I would like to give you
The loveliest of flowers yet
I'm sending you some daffodils
To brighten up your smile
Also I will bring to you
A bouquet and visit for awhile
The bouquet will be filled
With flowers of many shapes and size
Then you can ooh and aah
When you see them with your eyes
I will send you many roses
And a vase of lilac's too
Also many marigolds
And tulips, just for you
Gladiolas in a nice array
Hyacinths with their hues
Peonies with their beauty
And larkspurs are just a few
Lastly, I send an orchid,
Many lovely lilies too
I think that will be enough
To bring enjoyment to you

Ohhh!
....and Katie, you did bring such enjoyment in this garden of heart blooms. Thank you.
I am so smiling at the wonderful array laid before me here and have a soft spot for lilacs. They brings such heady romantic scents to spring and a hint of love grown old together...beautiful antiquity. I remember, too, when I was a child many years ago, my mom used to plant larkspur. Your flowers of the heart are a delight I'll treasure for years to come.
I'm happy to meet you now!
~Karen
P. S. I love well done rhyming poems and this is just lovely!

Thank You Karen
So very nice to meet you also. I am pleased that you enjoyed reading my poem, and all the flowers. My Mother had a beautiful flower garden. I couldn't tell a flower from a weed when they first start to sprout. Never had any good results with growing anything. When I planted a vegetable garden the Rabbits got all the greens. Thanks for reading my poem.
