Feeling as if I'm trapped
within the vortex of life
I stumble,
I fall,
I weep...
Empty, hollow sounds
echo inside my soul,
reaching for answers
pleading for salvation,
I pray...
My heart knows,
it feels,
that His spirit is there,
guiding me into his arms
I lean...
Binding me in strength
only His love can give,
my hands reach out
His mercy...offered me,
I accept...
Seeing with divine clarity
the dove of peace
hovering above my soul,
ready to carry my tears
upon wings of glory,
I surrender...
When I felt so alone
and needed a hand to hold,
there stood faith... waiting
Caressing me in tenderness
I embrace the light,
and breathe.
