Slave to love, blinded in the past,
mid hurtful lies love did not last.
Years of bitterness, strangle hold,
sad love stories remain untold.
Pulling you in they make you numb,
into loneliness you succumb.
Then in darkness a light is shown,
revealing love you have never known.
One that is lasting with eternal wings,
love fills your heart and makes it sing.
Sometimes we hurt and lose our soul,
with His love we begin to feel whole.
Do not despair when all seems lost,
God died for us, he bore the cost.
Search for the dove within His light,
eternal wings fly as love takes flight.

In my long search for him it seems I have taken the road towards hell. But those that find God ,I think, are very lucky indeed. The poets words smile now

Well Bob, sometimes it just seems like the road to hell.
Trust me, I have been on that road before. But somehow when the time is rifgght you will see His light and you will be on the path to His love. He waits as long as it takes for His chiuldren to come home. It took me 50 yrs. 
but it surte was worth the wait.
