my journey begins, wandering through my imagination,
hesitation dances with procrastination, then I see,
he, who breathes poetry, giving life to every syllable,
palpable imagery, a universe of motivation,
dedication to his pen, may his ink forever flow free,
trustee of an exquisite gift, a talent you can't label,
visible in each sentence, every word imaginable,
incorruptible language, a knowledge he is happy to share,
fair in his comments, offering help to those eager to learn,
return the favour and open the door to another world,
unfurled before your eyes, a myriad of wonder, if you dare,
rare artistic genius, creativity you can't spurn,
concern for the written word, in whatever shape it is curled,
hurled across the page, spat out, or written with a gentle feel,
steal away your breath with beauty or the laugh you can't contain,
insane sense of humour, empathy that can't be compared,
shared through individuality, words that can sometimes heal,
deal with an open mind, and true poetry you will reveal.
