bricks bereft of mortar
never rest one over the other,
built instantly,
broken within wink,
will, do not resurrect.
memories held them,
wish, sweet to stay,
sour to drop,
always oblivious
feelings are but one coin.
freeze at times,
thaw with warmth,
turn tiny
blow infinite,
dimensions change
moment to moment
life float on feelings
tossing to and fro,
up and down,
brush masterpiece
bruise psyche

Brief and sparse wording here gives each thought a chance to sink into the readers understanding, and the poem has the sense of a brick or stone wall built piece by piece. Thank you for this fine entry into the contest and best of luck in the judging...PK

This i such a lovely write, and you have used great imagery. I loved the lines "built instantly, broken within wink", this is so true. well done and all the best for the contest.
