Tell Tales

I am not the kind to tell.
I keep my secrets
some older than I
hidden deep within

No sunny day
or photo albums
or children's rhyme
can pry them from these lips.

Turtles sun
while my horse nibbles
and I can watch
clouds change shapes.

No more nightmares
they were all chased away
and the ghosts roam no longer.

No dark spaces
linger
here
anymore.

I just love that magazine

You are free, no need for secrets anymore. Well written by yourself and thoroughly enjoyed by me.

This is a well written piece of poetry. I enjoyed the read very much. You did take me on a bit of a roller coaster ride though.
