I was sitting round the my house one afternoon
The skies were bright, but the mood was grey
You see, the lord seen fit to take my dad that day
He was a man you stud up right
He won some battles, but the war he lost
Now he lies beneath the moss
He was a person that you could know
A gentle hand and friendly smile
Someone who could talk awhile
Now I sit here and remember when
In school I was learning about men like Nero
It’s was then I realized my dad’s my hero
I understand that I should live on though it’s hard
Fore those of you who think this sad
Have a drink on me and have one for dad

Oh. Uh. Rei pretty much said it. Yeah. Uh Right. Don't know. I'll let Rei decide on this.

Excellence. (Though I think it might offend Pia... she doesn't kno-- Um. You get it.)
I like how you described this, and the last two lines were brilliance. Heartfelt, too.

I am sorry for your loss...and I join you for that drink. A nicely written piece of poetry to honor your dad.
