God's own darkness
shall close my eyes
catching shadows in a blink ~
taking me
some place I've never known
where the air hovers
in a summer sky
and I suddenly forget
to remember yesterday
falling into October...

Such an awaking dawn you describe.
"God's own darkness/shall close my eyes," that is some powerful line. Liked-> the shadows you catch in that instant as you move into an approaching summer sky, forgetting all that was before and sink into renewal's intension.
