I walk upon smiles
through the shimmering temple of summer
where the sway of tall grass
brushes the tips of bare feet
and hums the song of longer days
spent
and the sky
is a silent poetry pressed against my lips
bringing to harvest
all the beautiful scents of my soul
sighing in a delicate weave of emotion...
I wear the cloak of August
bracing the softest breath of leaf and flower
around my shoulders
and in my heart
always

This is very stunning. It really does sound like Paradise City to me. Your imagery is very well done.

Very beautiful writing. Your words seem to take my hand and lead me through the lovely imagery. Good luck in the contest.
