I really love summer, don't you see?
During summer, love always finds me.
This year, it's been so much stronger.
Maybe this year, the love will last longer.
Hopefully this year, it won't be just a fling.
Maybe this time, the love will last till next spring.
I'm hoping this is for real.
I want to know how you feel.
Do you love me like I love you?
Are my feelings for you this true?
There are so many questions I may never know the answer.
Unlike last year's love, don't die of cancer.
I can't afford to lose another love.
I can't have another ascend to above.
I'm fifteen and I'm young, and I'm free.
I want you, sixteen to be here with me.
Please don't tell me I'm just your friend.
I can't take that rejection over and over again.
I know that no longer can I pretend.
I never want this summer to end.
I love you.
I love summer, too.

This is a very intresting poem. I felt the last three lines was a perfect ending for this write. conveyed your feelings of love and your love of Summer.

Wow, I'm sorry that you have had one die of cancer. That is sad. I"m sorry. I do love this poem though because, I can feel the emotions deep within the lines. Amazing write I shall say. I do wish you the best though with finding the love of your life that will be true. I do wish you also, the best of luck in this contest.
