the poison from the cup touched my lips
knowing that this was what i wanted i drank it all
it only took a few seconds for the poison to kick in
my heartbeat started to slow down
thoughts of you crossed my mind
thoughts about the times we've spent together
how much our parents hate each other
how our families are at war against one another
then the picture of your dead body
after my last heartbeat i knew that i made the right choice
