Life's A Bitch

Sometimes I walk this road, all alone and no rewards,
In times like this I just look up the sky and wonder...?
Maybe I'm a bit too far upwards or downwards,
Got lost in a place that I could never conquer,

There's a dream deep inside of me that's beating hard,
That's the dream I want but it's untouchable,
Life has so many gifts but I'm looking for a reward,
For a job well done in the irony - unfathomable,

It's a kick in the head, so it seems,
I got dreams and swam so high so many streams,
Jogged across the beaches of seven seas,
But my dreams are never overseas,
I climbed so high in mountains and volcanoes,
I cut my hand and broke my nose,
But does it really matter here and now?
Life is such a bitch somehow..

Looming around the imperfect world I see,
The many dreams of children in despair,
The many lives that lost so many,
Life can sometimes be so unfair,

It doesn't matter anymore for I will drift,
As far as I can there's no stopping me,
All I need now is a big giant lift,
I want to reach the heavens so let it be,
