Feelings Rush throught my body,
through the meek and mild air.
Grass and weeds brush up against my legs,
and as they do i feel as in i am in a different place,
protected,
unharmed.
Tears slowly flow down my cheeks
as i stare into the water.
Drip, Drip.
the tears fall, mixing with the vast body of water.
this reminds me that i am just one part of the world.
one person with problems.
For a second i feel selfish.
That feeling soon disapeers,
with the rest of the feelings.
i am back in the same place i was when i left,
the same situation.
Trouble.
Author notes
sometimes i feel this way. only when i am neer a body of water.

Raw and emotional...
Thank you for sharing such honest feelings. I enjoyed reading your poem. Thank you for entering my contest!

On the fourth line, you wrote "i feel as in i am," but I think you meant "I feel as IF i am." Grrr... typos!
This was a very interesting poem. I liked the imagery behind it. well done!
