The travesty of life
licks upon my chest,
proving all indifference
I produce my best
You cry about rhyme
in its fortitude,
In a preamble of judgement
I find you so rude
Your perspective
is an act of your mind,
that hardly holds substance
and shows you're unkind
Blame your own knowledge
for who you are,
take a walk at night
and wish upon a star

Yay! Time for Rhyme!
A well done poem in rhyme you've created here. Not quite sure what this has to do with the hermit poet, but I did enjoy your verse immensely. Nice vocabulary and I liked the imagery of your first two lines. In the second line of your second stanza did you mean: "its fortitude"? (possessive?) and in the last line of your third stanza did you mean: "shows you're unkind"? Keep your pen to the page and thanks for entering!
