our affinity...

Missing image
Oh God

you conceived this whole cosmos
and this whole globe does not
pronounce one single language

and most of the creation
do not utter any dialect
precisely, these trees, those rivers
that sun, this moon

yet, they all interact with you
on daily basis even
without comprehending any phrasing

the same hypothesis alludes
with our affinity
when you answer all my, those prayers
which I have yet to compose

Oh God...

Wonderful poem my friend. Maybe someday we will be able to understand the whistling of the wind and the rushing of the seas, the rustle of the leaves, the drifting of the sand. Until we are able to understand their language we won't know what they say. But I believe it is all praise to God our maker and our creator. Congratulations on the Silver trophy.

    Very Nice!

Some say that God does not hear our words, but our desires and emotions. But I think you are hinting at deeper kind of prayer here … one of true communion.

Yes, not possessing one single language but all
    connecting and interacting
and even across oceans we can reach out
    Much love

My reading of this beautiful poem, please forgive any error on my part:

    Oh' Truth

    All is from the Truth
In which nothing speaks from itself independently.

It is the Truth, which speaks in all things of creation,
with perfect speaking, in the forms which appear accordingly.
(whereas mankind's speech is coloured with imperfection)

All is perfectly according to its own nature, received from the Compassionate Truth, and has no knowledge or dealings with anything outside this.

The humankind is not like this, having adopted colourings and imperfections which can be 'cleaned' or reconciled, in our recognition of being within this same order and accepting the invitation to its meaning:
Man is created incomplete in this way, and with such knowledge, it is beholden for him to request his completion.

    May we be guided rightly.

This is as read by me, and not to attempt any limitations regarding the poem but to appreciate and hopefully expose more, the beauty I believe it points to.

    Such treasure my friend

    Sol

I think we too do this sometimes...interact with the divine without comprehending any 'words'. Another marvelous write of the overarching power of Love. I love the quote you've used here too, St. Theresa of Calcutta. best of luck in the contest. Peace, Rhonda
