There once was a kitten who hid all her loot,
down in the toe of her daddy's old boot.
Her ball with a bell, and her felt catnip mouse,
and anything else she could find round the house.
But when she climbed in she was stuck in the toe,
and how to get out, well, she just didn't know,
till daddy came home and he rescued her there,
and he soothed and he petted his kitten so fair.
So, right then, (that minute), she decided instead,
she'd hide all her cat toys beneath daddy's bed.

Oh, you got me here. This is absolutely adorable, and just a tiny bit naughty. Lovely rhyme and images. Just a totally delightful read. Definitely Gold.

Those were some big boots. It makes me wish I had a kitten even though I love the two sedate kitties I have.
