Three little piggies
iggy, wiggy and ziggy
Iggy was the adventurous type
wiggy enjoyed a bit of mischief
ziggy well he had all the answers
Three pigs in a pen
all of unique mind,
the farmer did not know
the farmer was not kind
Iggy dug a hole
to freedom from the pen,
little hooves scrambled
and it all ended then
Iggy met his plight
by the wolves in the night,
in his longing for adventure
he lost all sight
Wiggy had a game
to dress up like a wolf,
and to go far beyond the plain
he may have been insane
Deep into the night
he wandered into the pack,
he discovered he had no bark
and there was no turning back
Ziggy now so lonely
with wisdom on his mind
seeing the plight of others
so sadly left behind
Ziggy would stay silent
and never venture from the pen,
with a little pigs wisdom
he would wait to become bacon

Thank you for entering the contest!!!
I enjoyed reading about your wonderful pet piglets! I'll bet they're really fun (and a handful) to have around the pen!! Your creative poem reads like an ode of joy and pride, as well as a fun twist on that infamous nursery rhyme 'The Three Little Pigs' when the wicked wolf huffs and puffs and blows, etc. Thank you for sharing, I wish you all the best!!! Peace, Cyn
